The Wooden Floor Named One of Orange County’s Best Places to Work for Fourth Consecutive Year

SANTA ANA, Calif. (July 14, 2026) — The Wooden Floor has once again been recognized as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Orange County, marking the nonprofit’s fourth consecutive year with the highest ranking of #2 of 30 for profit and nonprofit organizations in our category, receiving this distinguished honor from the Orange County Business Journal in partnership with Workforce Research Group.

This recognition reflects The Wooden Floor’s ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, engaged, and inspired by a shared mission of transforming the lives of young people through the power of dance and access to higher education.

“This honor is especially meaningful because it is driven largely by employee feedback,” said Dawn S. Reese, CEO of The Wooden Floor. “Receiving this recognition four years in a row speaks to the extraordinary culture our team has built together, one rooted in collaboration, purpose, innovation, and a deep commitment to our students, families, and one another.”

The Best Places to Work in Orange County program recognizes organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplace cultures. Employers are evaluated through a comprehensive two-part process that assesses workplace policies, practices, and demographics, alongside confidential employee surveys measuring the overall employee experience. Employee feedback accounts for the majority of each organization’s final score.

For over 40 years, The Wooden Floor empowers young people and their families through life-changing dance education, academic support, college and career readiness, and family services. The organization’s mission-driven culture extends beyond the students it serves, creating an environment where employees are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and make a lasting impact in the community.

The complete rankings were published in the Orange County Business Journal‘s July 13, 2026, Best Places to Work in Orange County special report.
