A path to college – 100% of The Wooden Floor’s graduates finish high school on-time and enroll in higher education, with most students eligible for merit-based college scholarships, totaling up to $10,000.

What is The Wooden Floor About?
At The Wooden Floor, our mission is to inspire and transform the lives of young people through the power of dance and access to higher education. We use a long-term approach grounded in exploratory dance education to foster the confidence and gifts within each child to innovate, communicate, and collaborate – skills necessary for success in school and in life.
The Wooden Floor’s results align with the Orange County Department of Education’s goal to foster the Five Cs: Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Character to prepare students for their futures. At The Wooden Floor, we foster a sixth C: Courage.
How can my child join?
To be considered for enrollment, they must attend our
Annual Auditions DAY
on Saturday, October 3, 2026
anytime between 8:30am to 1:00pm at
The Wooden Floor Main Street Location
1810 North Main Street, Santa Ana, CA 92706
We are looking for boys and girls who:
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a love for movement
- Are in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade on October 3, 2026
- Have financial need
Children do not need any dance experience and should not have anything prepared for the audition.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and should wear comfortable clothing for a fun movement experience. Please plan approximately 1-2 hours for the auditions process.
Limited enrollment spaces available based on meeting audition criteria.
